I have lortab elixir for my surgery and have to take alot for the pain but all that tylenol isn’t good for me. I wanted to see if anyone knows how to extract the hydrocodone from the elixir. Thanks!

you can’t , it’s mixed, if your doctors were worried about your tylenol consumption they wouldn’t have prescribed it, if you’re that concerned about it talk to your doctor and see if they can prescribe something else, hope you feel better
^^trust me you can, just because somethings mixed doesn’t mean its inseparable…..its an acid/base extraction i believe but i do not remember all the steps…i recall its actually easier to remove the acetaminophen than the hydrocodone though…ive done it but with pills not with elixir…..go to erowid.com and you should find some info
If it is a suspension. then either A. tape it to the bottom of a washer on spin cycle and the medication will separate or be spin it a round and a round or let it set for a day without movement and don’t shake it after it has separated. If the medication is a syrup good luck. If the Tylenol is a problem they make other pain medication in a liquid form without Tylenol.
