Sometimes, I’m ashamed to be an American. If it’s not booze, it’s pills. Maybe Al Qaeda was right. This culture is increasingly ugly and OUT OF CONTROL. Excuse me. Now…where DID I put those fucking mushrooms?
I feel the need to add that I “loathe” pills because of what they do to the user.. and yes, in direct comparison to what Cannabis does to the user. I have a detailed, first hand descriptive account of what both have done to the people in my life, if anyone wants to know any thing about it. This isn’t research done in labs, on rats. This is firsthand information on living human beings and the difference in the lives of those using pills for their pain and those using Cannabis.
In fact, you do not have to be a researcher at all or look very hard or very far to find out that Cannabis has many useful effects for many who suffer. There are no damages made to your liver like Hydrocodone will do. That is just one, paltry comparison. There has never been a single death contributed to Cannabis. You cannot say that about pharmaceuticals. I have had 2 members of my family die in the past few years from the abuse of pharmaceuticals. I loathe pills and misinformation.
I’m too lazy to read all of this argument, but why, exactly is marijuana being compared to hydro? And “IntrapersonalKent” if what you say is true, then you are the FIRST researcher to ever discover such a thing about marijuana and I BEG you to PLEASE email me your research findings. Are you PAID by anyone to endorse such one sided arguments against the use of our friend, cannabis sativa? Cannabis has NEVER been linked to permanent brain damage in any of the books I have ever read.
@gnarnivore Well, technically, in the brain, yes it is. Just not as potent.
similar to morphine? not even.
@fckualreadyaye what a sweet and marvelous thing to say. Thank you dearly :-). I sincerely feel that I both grow and learn from each of these small experiences.
God, the Father of mercies, through the death and resurrection of his Son has reconciled the world to himself and sent the Holy Spirit among us for the forgiveness of sins; through the ministry of the Church may God give you pardon and peace, and I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen… Your sins are forgiven, go in peace
You’re right it’s like the blind leading the blind with me, again you’re correct. I lack the ivy league prestige; and lack “gratuating” magna cum laude. Your intellect is beyond my understanding. lol, you’ve been defensive towards me the whole time, thought I’d add a little in myself
@fckualreadyaye Look it takes next to nothing for two people to warm up a useless debate these days. I may have well been responding to a statement or two you’ve made in response to this video without even realizing it. As silly and lacking in consequence as this all is really, I’m sorry, I hope you can forgive me. Good day.
@fckualreadyaye and you did a rather poor job of it, hence I gave you an oppportunity you’ve squandered -_-. You do not respond to an inquisition with another one. *Sigh* I was done before starting, I realize that now.
@IntrapersonalKent You should know the difference between dwelling and responding, bc you’re still asking a question I’ve already answered.
@DiSwHiTeBoY2KrAzY One rather unfortunate truth is that a vast multitude of people confuse the term “addicted” with negative connotations to poor judgment and emotional frailty when in reality, it quite simple refers to your body’s natural adaptation to the chemical interference. Like Papaown said, good luck!!
@fckualreadyaye Dwell on the original argument. All that interests me is the motive behind your statement..quite frankly. I am well aware of obselete, endlessly iterated exchanges that have no true aim or design, the world is polluted with them. All that ever motivated ME was the “specific” intentions underlying YOUR statement, that is all. So what was it?
hmm, Well lets see; “being practical.” I’m sure you’re going to ask define what being practical is? Then we’re going to do the whole merry go round thing. I guess it’s one of those things that went out the window a long time ago
@DiSwHiTeBoY2KrAzY There is nothing worse than bone pain and worst of all, your back :-s. My mother is suffering from the same illness but it is progressing much more slowly. I can’t imagine having to take this much vicodin and still be conscious. Have you found any particular physical exercises or position that offer some kind of relief? What about NSAIDs?
@fckualreadyaye Oh dear, common sense would tell me to stay away from 3000 mg altogether; However, it was Eistein who claimed that “common sense” is just the overall accumulation of prejudices acquired by age 18 and therefore, philosophicaly, some seem to agree that Marijuana is perfectly “safe” -_-. I’d have to know what your baseline of common sense is.
I dunno, what does common sense tell ya?
@IntrapersonalKent i was born with degenerative disc disease in my back,, Ive had 2 disc replacements already and talking about a 3rd surgery for herniated disc…
@orupris Oh dear, your statement is a pure, simple beam of truth amongst a foul sea of hatred and ignorant disparagement.
@treynofx Bless your heart! Quitting cold turkey almost never works because the psychological dependence seems to multiply in an inverse proportion to the speed at which you quit. Take it slow, do it in moderation. My heart goes to you and good luck!
@treynofx Gradually introduce off-the-shelf pain relief meds, aspiring, acet, ibu..finally, fill that emotional void with things you love. Hobbies, hiking, gardening, film, good food and art..anything that increases your dopamine and serotonin naturally and speeding up the detox process.
@treynofx I know this is an old post but you have a deep introspection and insight to distinguish between pleasure from drugs and true happyness from life. I would give you this advice when deciding to quite drugs. Do it gradually. Reduce your dosage by 10 percent every 3 days and you will avoid ALL withdrawal symptoms.
@mak3upay …You are destroying your “connection” to the this world in ravaging the organ that allows you to do so. Please, I urge you to observe others who have made prolonged use of Marijuana, learn their stories..There are many things that give pleasure and fulfillment in life. For me, art, music, film, writing..such a wide range of beauty in this world can satisfy. The pleasure associated with drugs is ALWAYS a temporary one that leads to an assured, gradual destruction.
@mak3upay Cannabis is one of the only known chemical substances potent enough to “with repeated long term use” fry neurons one network at a time but overwhelming the dopamine receptors. In my research, I associated prolonged use of Marijuana (4-6 months or more) to the later stages of MS and cognitive impairments. Marijuana DOES result in rapid neuronal degeneration with repeated use, leading to permanent brain damage.
